On the occasion of Gallery Weekend, we cordially invite you to the opening of our new exhibition space at Lützowstr.6, 10875 Berlin-Tiergarten on 28 April 2017 from 8pm and show current works by Berlin artists Danny Gretscher and Emess.

Shortly behind the former no-man’s land of Potsdamer Platz, two artistic positions have come together in the former zonal corner of Berlin’s old East-West that could hardly be more different. Danny Gretscher, who comes from Jena, paints his impressions of the Australian west coast into floral colour atmospheres and mystical mythical creatures, while Emess’s western pop aesthetic assigns multi-layered backgrounds to currency portraits of well-known political icons. Both have their artistic origins in the primordial soup of urban art in Berlin and have developed noteworthy independent positions.
