“MAKE THE MONEY” – For almost a decade, Emess has been using the graphic treasure trove of commercially available banknotes as an artistic resource. In colourful print collages, he combines portraits of international currencies with elements of silkscreen, stencil, painting and graffiti and unwinds an electrifying network of multi-layered allusions and associations.
